Here comes the end of the 2-week "Family Rehabilitation of Participants in Hostilities" program. It was an extraordinary experience for all of us, filled with ups and downs, joy and sadness. Together, we took this challenging journey of self-discovery and self-rehabilitation, and together we witnessed the process of restoring family relationships, gaining insights about our children, and building strong friendships.
We tried our best to stay open to each other's feelings and perspectives by discussing important and difficult topics with ease and a smile. Through this process, we discovered inner strength within ourselves and each other and learned to look at the problems as opportunities for future growth. We met people with deep emotional wounds, which we carefully remedied with the healing power of collective efforts and support. We managed to transform these wounds into experience that helps to navigate us through life's challenges and discover moments of joy. We wanted and tried to live a fulfilling life, showing care for each other and ourselves. We've realized that we are not alone because we have each other.

We paid particular attention to psychological classes that played a crucial role in regaining our emotional growth and awareness. Each topic of the classes was important and helpful, as we talked about personal boundaries and ways to understand our own emotions and feelings of our loved ones. We’ve also been delving into neuropsychology to explore the impact of stress on memory, sleep, and mental abilities. At the end of each day, we reflected on "WINGS" by discussing situations and people who uplift and inspire us, and every participant managed to FLY up with the help of the team.
Every day was filled with surprises and discoveries, and we will cherish these precious memories of strong breathtaking mountains, lively dances, heartfelt smiles, and the care and kindness we shared. By the way, let us share with you one of these wonderful moments! According to tradition, project participants climbed Mount Makovytsia, located in Yaremche. Such a trip was the dream of many parents and children. Even three-year-old children conquered the 980-meter-high mountain! At the top of the mountain, we were rewarded with incredible views, sunny weather, the joy of conquering the peak, tasting Hutsul cheeses, encouragement, and a good mood!
We will always treasure in our hearts the love and gratitude for each participant who has become a part of our family. Once again, we were all reminded of how incredibly powerful, strong, gentle, and warm the Ukrainian Family is, on which our beloved Ukraine relies!
Eventually, everyone returned home happy and exhausted but enriched with new experiences and memories! We express sincere gratitude to everyone who accompanied us on this journey of the "Family Rehabilitation of Participants in Hostilities" project. You are all unbelievable! We look forward to creating and sharing more positive memories in the future!
