The destruction of the Kakhovska HPP by russian aggressors on June 6, 2023, was one of the most significant environmental disasters in recent decades and yet another war crime of russia against Ukraine, causing massive damage and severe consequences for the residents of the Kherson region.
However, we are not alone in this fight! Our supportive partners at Veritas Ambulanz came to the rescue and sent us water purification filters (valued at 50,000 euros) from the world-leading Swiss filters manufacturer — “Katadyn”. The day before, the Kherson Regional Infectious Disease Hospital named after H. I. Horbachevskyi received and unloaded a truckload full of humanitarian aid. Unfortunately, it is this hospital that, due to the difficult epidemiological situation, has faced a significant increase in workload and required additional multifunctional beds. Thus, in addition to the filters, 37 multifunctional beds with mattresses and bedside tables, as well as tables and chairs, arrived from Germany for the hospital needs.
